The world seems so dark,
Day and night it’s all black,
Living in a dull life,
How could I comply?
I felt that I am in grief,
And I thought that I am lifeless,
‘Cause the things that are wonderfully made,
Their colors I cannot perceive.
I can feel, I can hear,
I can walk, I can talk,
But I might make wrong decisions in life,
‘Cause I can’t stand on my own.
Call me sightless, vision-less or blind,
But I’m not a burden to humanity,
And I know deep in my heart,
That I can be whatever I want to be.
